Welcome to our classroom! I'm Whitney Doenges and I've been teaching for 12 years. I love teaching first and second grade. Each day is different and filled with energy, wonder and lots of learning. I went to the Warren Elementary School as a child and am passionate about this special school. I think it's a very unique place to learn and grow. I earned my degree from UVM. I have taught preschool, third and fourth grade and first and second. I live with my cabinet making husband Bill and our two young children, Max and Lucy. We also have two yellow labs, so no outfit is complete without dog hair! I love to read, craft and be outside. I love the beach. I am passionate about teaching reading and writing.
