Pumpkins!

For our Friday activity this week we painted pumpkins and gave them silly faces. I found a great lesson that taught kids how to sketch the pumpkin using segments so it really looked like a pumpkin. Then they mixed red, yellow, orange and white for the perfect hue for their pumpkin. After they added their facial features. There were eyebrows, nostrils and even some mustaches! This group loves creating art!

Baking for the Harvest Dinner

Before the Harvest Dinner we baked our traditional pumpkin bread.  Thanks to all the parents who helped out and to Gretchen, the kitchen organizer!
